Claire thinks it is really funny to put her face on the tray of the high chair and blow but this time she had some jelly bread there and it stuck to her forehead. It was very funny.

Claire Has a Voice

Claire Dollame has been such a blessing in our lives! She has been in our family for almost 5 months. She is the most perfect baby (I sound like such a mom :)) But Claire really does not like to go to sleep! The first 3 months Claire was home we would rock her to sleep. And that went OK until about the last month. We would rock Claire for an hour some nights and she still would not fall asleep in our arms. We felt the bonding was going really well so we decided we would just place her in her crib at let her fall asleep on her own. And it was the strangest things Claire would not make a sound she would be awake in her crib sometimes for 10 minutes and the fall asleep and some times for a hour. But all that time she would be perfectly quite...Well the last 3 nights and now nap times that has all changed!!!! Claire can put up a fight!!! :) Today it was nap time, we watched some Sesame Street and she fell asleep. I walked her to her room and she was UP! I left her in there figuring she would just go back to sleep but she screamed...like she did the last couple nights. There is nothing wrong with her...diaper changed (check) just had a bottle (check) She just does not want to sleep!

Starting Again

The rumors are true :) Darin and I are going to start the adoption process again in March! But this is a very different ball game! When we started with Claire we had a lot more money sitting in the bank. We are totally following Gods calling and putting all of our trust in Him! As of right now don't have the 5 thousand dollars we need to sign up with our agency so we are doing some fund raising so we can HOPEFULLY start the process in March!
It is also a little different this time because we have also decided that since our family will be made through adoption it is smarter financially to adopt 2 at once! So Claire will be getting a brother and a sister! We have spent a lot of time in prayer and conversation with each other trying to make sure that this is what we are to do. And the answer keeps coming back YES!
So our first fund raiser is a pretty awesome set up! We are working with Just Love Coffee and they work with adopting families! Darin and I have our own web site through them and every time you order a bag of coffee we get $5!! They wait and see what orders come in for the month and then cut us a check!! We keep doing this until we are finished with the adoption process!!
