Fun in the Sun

These pictures are of the past few weeks. I don't know why but lately when I post pictures it won't let me post any description of what the pictures are. So I will describe them here :) The 1st on is of Claire and her Great Uncle Mike. (my favorite uncle growing up) As you can see he has a way with kids :)

The next picture is of My cousin Zac, cousin Suz, Me and cousin Macy. We were all in Tennessee.

Then me and my handsome grandpa Gene.

Claire with her Great Aunt Becky

Claire and her Great Grandma, Marlene

Back in Indiana~
Claire and Cooper Kropf. I get to babysit for him a few days a week :) Claire does so good with him. I am sure she will be wonderful with her new brother and sister.

Then there is a picture of Claire and her WONDERFUL therapist Roxanna. Roxanna is a developmental therapist and she has helped Claire learn and grow so much! Claire is now graduated from the 1st steps program which is wonderful that means she is doing everything that a 16 month old should do, but we won't get our weekly visits from Roxanna any more :(

The rest of the pictures are just of Claire having fun around the house on nice spring days :)

Next Babies Update

As many of you know Darin and I are in the process of adopting 2 more of Gods precious children. Our agency emailed us yesterday that our application is on file and that we need to fill out the contracts with Ethiopia and CCI.
Our dossier (all of the paper work needed to adopt) is good in Ethiopia for 2 years and since it was authenticated last June we still have a good 14 months until our dossier expires. So all that we had to do for our paper work was update our home study. We had Ruth our social worker come in February and we are just waiting our our clearances from child protective services and I believe our state wide back ground checks. Once that is done we will send our updated copy of our home study to USCIS (this is that agency that allows us the paper work to bring orphaned children into the US) and then we will send the original copy of the updated home study to the Secretary of the State in Indianapolis, and from there it goes to DC, from there to Ethiopia. :) So we are just waiting on a few small things and then the ball really gets rolling:)
When we were doing the paper work for Claire we literally got all of that done in one week. So that is where we currently are with the journey! We still at this point could get our referrals (pictures of our babies) anytime. So please keep our sweet children on your prayers.
